Shin Megami Tensei

This series is a rather lengthy and well known one. To my knowledge, the procession is thus:

Shin Megami Tensei:
- Nocturne
- Digital Devil Saga
- Digital Devil Saga 2
- Persona 3
- Persona 3: F.E.S.
- Persona 4

There are several more SMT games, but they’re exclusive to Japan or not out yet. In any case, this game seems to be hailed as the last of the great jRPG series’ for the PS2. I never got into Nocturne or either of the Digital Devil saga games, mostly ’cause I was too young and found some of the story concepts difficult. When Persona 3 came out, I recall I wanted to play, but when my Mom suddenly stopped playing, I got the impression she sold it, so I figured my chance was lost. Lo and behold I found it years later (a few weeks ago) and was tempted to try it, but I was really into Rune Factory Frontier at the time.

For my birhtday my Uncle got me Persona 4, and it’s on its way as we speak. In the mean time, I’m checking out P3. As I recall from what I’ve played of it before and what I know of the game, it’s a rather well done, unique and superb game. I’m pretty psyched up to get a chance to play P4.

Since we haven’t done anything here in a while, I figure I’ll keep up with my progression through the game here. School feels like such an embodiment of time that when I get home I don’t want to do any form of work, even if blogging/reviewing is actually fun work. Just needa’ get wrapped up in the mindset again. But for now, this is an attempt at revival.

Is this wise? GiantBomb has something similar and they’re doing it in video.

And I tried listening to the first episode of your podcast. I got garbled morons trying to connect to one another. I skipped most of it, but I heard the word Quake. Episode 5 was a vast improvement, but the offensively abysmal sound quality turned me off.

WHY DID YOU NOT GET RID OF THIS TRAVESTY OF NOISE?

You know, you can always just do a one-man podcast. Just be prepared and have interesting things to say. Easier said then done, but easier than wrangling all your friends together.
